The goal of the Higher Education Program is for students to pursue higher education and to take pride in that education. The Higher Education Program strives for all students to graduate, and become successful contributing members of society not only for themselves, but also for the tribe and the global community.

Enhanced Higher Education Scholarship Program

Providing higher education for its members is a top priority of the Tribe.

Purpose:

The purpose of the Scholarship Program is to provide the maximum amount of support to all Tribal members who wish to pursue higher education.

Eligibility:

  • All enrolled members of the Forest County Potawatomi Community of Wisconsin are eligible for the Scholarship Program.
  • All post-secondary education programs, including part-time and web-based programs which are on the accreditation list of the United States Department of Education, are eligible for the Scholarship Program including colleges, junior colleges, trade schools and vocational schools (“Post-Secondary Education Institutions”).
  • All post-secondary students must maintain a strong grade point average to remain in the Scholarship Program.
